COMPASS news, points of interest and great quotes

Change in staff It is with sadness that we let you know that one of our longest serving staff members, Naomi, has decided to move on from COMPASS. We wish Naomi all the best in the future and she will be missed.

‘COMPASS turns 40’

The origins of COMPASS commenced in 1975 from two small businesses that Robert and Warrick took over in 2000. 15 years later (or 40 from the original commencement) we are pleased to tell you that we are here for the ‘long haul’ and will continue to be here when you need us. Points of interest! Men are six times more likely to be struck by lightning than women.

In 2000, Pope John Paul II was named an ‘Honorary Harlem Globetrotter’.

Frozen lobsters can come back to life when thawed. Great quotes “Old age takes away from us what we have inherited and gives us what we have earned.” Gerald Brenan “I don’t believe in just ordering people to do things. You have to sort of grab an oar and row with them.” Harold Green “There is more to life than increasing its speed.” Ghandi
