The below shows some of the major regions peak to trough share market performances since the start of the markets reaction to Covid-19. As an example, it shows that the Australian market dropped about 35% at one stage, but is now back to around a 15% decline.
The MSCI World (left hand columns) represents the average and shows the decline is now only around 7%. A pretty sobering figure if you panicked and sold out when markets were down around 30%!
